Animals

The Elmwood Zoo features more than 15O fascinating wild animals of North America including, jaguars, cougars, wolves, bison, elk, prairie dogs, otters, bobcats, alligators, eagles, owls, and many more. they also have a barn exhibit of domesticated farm animals including gentle, friendly cows, goats, and sheep. For your young cowgirls and cowboys there's a "Wild West" pony ride during the warm weather season.

Food

Elmwood Zoo allows you to bring in your own picnic foods. There's  large shaded picnic groves for you convenience. The zoo also has the Cougar Cafe food concession. It features a complete line of fast foods, snacks, and desserts. There is indoor seating in the community room and outdoor seating on a large adjoining deck or at nearby picnic tables.
